Current Outreach Efforts

Rabun Transit is required to submit a summary of public outreach efforts over the last three (3) years. The following is a list and short description of Rabun Transit’s recent, current, and planned outreach activities.

Rabun Transit will disseminate annual customer service surveys to gauge the quality of service among passengers. We continue to have the passengers complete these and review them accordingly.

Rabun Transit will provide an opportunity for public input at the commissioner’s meeting prior to implementing any significant changes to our service. If changes are being considered, these items will be published in the local newspaper on the docket for the commissioner’s meetings.

Rabun Transit encourages the input of our clients with questions, comments, or concerns on our brochures which are readily available at our transit location, on all the vans, and six other locations within the county; Rabun County Chamber of Commerce, Rabun County Courthouse, Department of Family & Children Services, Rabun County Library, Brooks Lane Apartments, and Clayton Housing Authority.
