Welcome to the Rabun County Probate Court.

I hope your experience with our office will be as efficient and pleasant as possible. Our full-time staff of Savannah Dixon, Kiera Turner, and Logan Giovino have over 20 years of combined experience. We look forward to serving the public to the best of our abilities.

The Probate Court provides many services. These include providing the standard Georgia forms for the probate of decedents' wills and processing administration of estates; filing wills for safekeeping for the public; holding estate hearings; accepting filings concerning minor and adult guardianships and conservatorships and holding hearings for same; recording of all documents; processing, issuing and recording Georgia marriage licenses; and receiving applications for Georgia Weapons Carry Licenses and issuing those licenses once background checks are completed and approved. Rabun County Probate Court holds traffic court and subsequent hearings, processes, and disposes of traffic citations written by the Georgia State Patrol, Department of Natural Resources, and the Rabun County Sheriff's Department.  If you have a citation in this Court and wish to see if you are eligible to pay online, please click on this weblink. http://www.ezcourtpay.com.

In addition, Rabun County's Probate Judge is appointed by the Georgia State Registrar of Vital Records and serves as the Local Registrar of Vital Records for this county, and in that capacity maintains custodial copies of Rabun County birth and death records and issues certified copies of same.
